We attended an afternoon function which was excellent. Our room for the night however was not good at all..in fact I think it was atrocious. We were quickly relocated to another room which was much cleaner with comfortable beds but quite shabby.....Jackie on reception was very helpful both on check in and check out. A younger member of staff called Tyler worked so hard all through the event. She was very pleasant and helpful and a credit to the Charnwood Arms. Breakfast the next morning was very good. All in all, a nice weekend spoilt by the first room we were allocated but quickly put right by the swift action if the staff.

Basic but exactly what I wanted whilst working away from home.
Everything I needed was there and the food was nice enough. Nothing special but not absolutely awful either.

Love the meals from here, bought my 2 youngest this evening and it was so relaxed they let them play hide and seek, they gave them crayons and activity sheets! Food and pudding was lovely! Served by Millie & Abbie lovely customer service and Mitch cooked our food perfectly!

Rooms need a dam good clean..
Mould growing in the corner of the room.
Bathroom was fine but the room first off stank of cigarette smoke, was told when i complained that that's the only room. staff not interested.
Breakfast was basic and nothing special.

Came to the Charnwood Arms for a meet up with a friend and to have some lunch.
Service was very good, staff were very friendly.
Good was excellent, very tasty.
Definitely come back again.
Parking very easy.
